Check-in

N.B. The car and cargo check-in area of Silja Line Turku terminal will be renewed, and the traffic arrangements has been changed from 22 April 2021. The address of the new car check-in is Kuljetuskatu 4, and both car and cargo check-in will be run along Kuljetuskatu.

With the reform, passenger vehicles will start using the same field as cargo. The new check-in area offers opportunity to develop land operations as a whole and to speed up the unloading and loading time of ships. The new car and cargo check-in field has new car and cargo check-in points. In addition, new digital displays and semi-automatic traffic control will be introduced.

Kartta autolähtöselvitykseen

Check-in for customers traveling without a vehicle ends 30 minutes before the departure of the ship. Check-in for car passengers ends 45 minutes before the departure of the ship.

Unpaid bookings must always be checked in no later than one hour (1 hour) before the departure of the ship. Thereafter, unredeemed bookings can be cancelled without notice. We also recommend that passengers who have already paid for their trip in advance arrive at check-in one hour before the departure of the ship.

The terminal has separate check-in points for individual and group customers as well as those traveling by car. Reservations with a vehicle must be checked-in at the car check-in (approx. 200 m from the terminal).

There are also self-service check-in kiosks available for individual guests traveling without a vehicle. You can enter the booking number + security number (found on the confirmation), the barcode of the confirmation letter or the loyalty card number. The machine then prints boarding passes and coupons for pre-ordered additional services.

Check-in can be done on the self-service kiosk no later than 20 minutes before departure if payment is booked on booking. self-service kiosk can be used only for the departures on the same day.

Club One Gold members and Suite class passengers have a joint check-in desk in the terminal (does not apply to car check-in).

HOW TO GET THERE

By public transportation

Bus number 1 goes from the market square (Kauppatori) to Silja Line terminal. The bus stop is located in front of Åbo Svenska Teatern, on the market square side.

Parking

  • Close to the terminal closed car park that is locked for the night

  • Parking complex in the Port of Turku, Toinen linja, 200 m from the terminal. Locked hall and open-air spaces.

Trains

There are good train connections directly from Turku harbor to Helsinki and Tampere directions and also bus connections to several different cities. The train station is located approximately 200 meters from the terminal. The station is accessible via the glass corridor outside the terminal.

Bus station

Located next to the train station, approximately 200 meters from the terminal. Check the bus schedules in advance and the connections to the terminal from the internet http://www.matkahuolto.fi/en/ or from Matkahuolto service number tel. +358 200 4000.

Taxi station

Located approximately 50 meters from the terminal, between Hotel Seaport and the terminal.

There are no Lockers or ATM in the terminal

There is no Money exchange in the terminal. The nearest money exchange service is at Hotel Seaport, approximately 150 meters from Silja Line terminal.

 

Turun terminaalin kutsupisteen löydät sisäänkäynnin (automaattiovet) jälkeen vasemmalta ryhmälähtöselvityksen luota. Tallink Siljan lähtöselvitys on 1. kerroksessa. Terminaalissa on hissi. Inva-WC sijaitsee toisessa kerroksessa turvatarkastuksen jälkeen. Invapysäköintiä varten terminaalin ulkopuolella on kaksi paikkaa lyhytaikaisen paikoituksen yhteydessä terminaalin ulko-oven vieressä.
